Most companies and web sites maintain such server logs as a function of operating web sites. IDOT and/or UIC analyze such logs in an effort to constantly improve the value of materials on the site. The logs do not contain personally identifiable information. Neither IDOT nor UIC makes any attempt to link the traffic information on the site with the individuals who actually visit the site.
